green dress

with the belly growing up, i cant fit in my old dresses, so  now i am having fun, sewing every occasion i have. i have used the pattern of a round skirt for the bottom part of the dress and just added the top part , with a ribbon and off i go. wax printed fabric rocks!!!

My first Terrarium

Hi there. just something i was thinking about for a long time. so i decided to go for it, a terrarium  i chose cactus, but next time i think i will go for a succulent... but hey there it goes.
i have used: Sand, Charcoal, tree leaves and small pieces of the tree, sand, and some cute rocks i bought on the supermarket and of course the cactus and the vase.
cactus terrariums are great as long as you choose a wide open vase, and also just add water once a month!
hope you try it !!

Capulana dress

made this capulana dress out of a basic tutorial of a strapless dress and added the other wax fabric to spice it up a little bit. the plain fabric was added to the waist, i added some pleats and also did one strap that went all the way to the back.

pink dress

Made this dress for a wedding, it was pretty fun, during the whole night, and it has a jacket too, couldn't find a good pic :).
first pick shows the pattern i used. starts with a simple strapless dress pattern, and then added the small flowers details and 3 straps.

Infinity scarf

made this infinity scarf with capulana and a cheap black fabric, idea came from the sweet verbena blog, check out here the Tut http://sweet-verbena.blogspot.com/2011/10/single-loop-lace-infinity-scarf.html. fun to wear, and now have tons of them.
